Daily DeviationOn the wave by *uvar Reminiscent of a age gone by, this piece brings back memories of days spent in galleries filled with Turner and Contstable etc. The piece shows great skill and an innate understanding of light and the dynamics of nature. The suggester writes "I had an actual physical reaction, a little jump for joy in my heart, when I opened this piece. The freedom! The beauty! The joy and light! Perhaps the waters of heaven appear so when we embark on the ships of afterlife. If so, who could bear the Earth longer?" (Suggested by `DragonWinter and Featured by `Illusio-5)

Move over, Thomas Kinkade. Your ability to paint light is the purest, most amazing I've ever seen. I actually had a physical joy reaction in my chest when I opened this piece. Fantastic.

amazing. I'm always amazed at how your water really looks like, well, like it's really translucent. that's the major fault in most other water pictures I've seen, they don't watch the see-through effect. or something. heh, I can't phrase this properly... ^^;

Thats one of the greatest paintings I have ever laid my eyes on, the detailing on the sky and sea are superb. Id be a fool not to favor this :+fav:

I love everything else about this painting, but - the waves! I can't remember the last time I saw painted waves that were this full of life and energy and movement. Brilliant work. :clap:
